| List of own goods and services | Goods, services or assets do not include elements considered “involving risk”, but proposed on the market by the organization. TSI™ allows an establishment to create a list of 100 goods and services which will define the object of the transaction in a precise manner. This list is optional. |
| | |
| Listings | The operator or administrator has the possibility to display or print all or part of the listings used within TSI™ (e.g. list of activities involving risk, list of countries or professions). These documents are in .PDF format and accessible in the installation file of TSI™. |
| | |
| Motive put forward | Reasons presented to justify or explain a certain fact. |
| | |
| Objects involving risk | Goods, services or assets statistically recognized as “involving higher risk” towards infiltration by organizations or other criminal groups. The list of sectors declared “sensible” is available with INSIDE.CO SERVICES. It is updated once a year at the most. |
| | |
| On-line means | Any means of communication (electronic or telecommunication) allowing managing a commercial or financial relationship at distance without physical recognized contact (written letter, meeting, etc.). |
| | |
| Operator TSI™ | Person having passed the competence to use TSI™ software and to represent the interests of the establishment within which s/he operates. The operator may use all resources of the application other than those reserved to the administrator and TSI™s of other operators. All creations, adjustments and changes of TSI™s are annotated in the database with the identity of the operator and the date of modification / creation. |
| | |
| Order TSI™ credits | The order may be made either by direct contact with sales@insideco.org or on-line on the www.insideco.org website using a credit card. |
| | |
| PROXD and PROXC | Segment of questions concerning indicators directly related to the profile (PROXD) and indicators of correspondence of the profile (PROXC). |
| | |
| Phases of application of TSI™ | TSI™ may be used as well in the planning, as in the realization or control and audit phases. Moreover, this question is raised within the characteristics of the transaction. This option allows on top of the planning phase, to “update” the TSI™ during its realization phase; thus taking into account significant changes of data and possibly pointing out a positive or negative evolution of risk to the establishment. In the audit phase, TSI™ essentially serves to demonstrate to the services concerned that all measures of internal organization and precaution have been taken. An auditor may thus confirm the measures taken for one or several transactions potentially involving risk, based on a complete TSI™ report. |
| | |
| Privacy | Please refer to Security. |
| | |
| Proxy holder | Natural person or legal entity which has been mandated to act on behalf of another person or to represent it/him (e.g. agent, authorized agent, attorney, proxy, trustee, etc.). |
| | |
| Public institution | Any group of persons acting in a concise and coordinated manner within the management of public asset(s) and under direct or indirect control of persons in charge occupying recognized political functions. |
| | |
| Security | TSI™ is installed in a secured manner in a directory of your choice when installing the application. In no way is it possible for a third party or Inside.CO to access registered data without authorization of the administrator of the establishment. Please refer to “administrator” for details. The program and files are encrypted with standard tools of Microsoft™. It is, however, the responsibility of the administrator to ensure that access to the files used by TSI™ is controlled in order to avoid their destruction. To this effect, regular backup of all operational files is necessary. |
| | |
| Statistics (personalized) | If the client uses MS Access™ as a working tool under licence, he may access the TSI™ database in order to extract data and establish his own lists and reports. |
| | |
| Status of TSI™ | TSI™ may have 3 different statuses. When creating a TSI™, the status “current” is activated as long as the questionnaire is not sufficiently filled up and the index may not yet be calculated. Once this stage has been reached, TSI™ passes automatically to the status “validated” when the index may be calculated. Updates are possible during this phase. The operator may thereafter change the status to “terminated” once all the questions he wishes or can, taking into account the state of his/her documentation, answer and s/he does not wish to carry out changes. Finally an archive phase, allowing the administrator to withdraw TSI™s which are not used any more from the database by activating the “archive” status. |
| | |
| Structure (of the transaction) | Manner in which the transaction is constructed, in which the role of the various participants is split up and in which the way of doing is carried out. |
| | |
| TRAXD and TRAXC | Segment of questions concerning direct indicators related to a transaction (TRAXD) and indicators of correspondence of the latter (TRAXC). |
| | |
| TSI™ (grouped) | In certain cases, a “commercial operation” binds several C/S/P to the establishment. A chain of transaction including various C/S/Ps must therefore be evaluated together in order to determine a potential element of weakness in the chain of transactions (e.g. the establishment envisages to order a semi-manufactured product which must be supplied by a first supplier of a third country to a second supplier of a second country who finally delivers the semi-manufactured product to the establishment). If a commercial “operation” consists of various stages, the operator may decide to open a “grouped TSI™” when creating a new TSI™, enabling him/her to add, via the “add TSI™” function, up to 4 profiles and additional transactions to an existing TSI™. All reports concerning this grouped TSI™ are administered together and will allow the operator to keep an overview on the whole of these grouped transactions.
Once the choice of a simple or grouped TSI™ has been made the operator cannot change his/her choice any more!
All TSI™ versions allow choosing between simple and grouped TSI™s. The number of credits used depends only on the number of open TSI™s. Thus, a grouped TSI™ with 4 transactions will use 4 credits and each simple TSI™ one credit a time. |
| | |
| TSI™ (simple) | Interactive questionnaire in which the operator inputs a sole profile related to a sole transaction. The reports edited will only refer to this transaction. |
| | |
